RAD Search are delighted to be partnering with an established construction group as they look to appoint an experienced Senior Architectural Technologist to join their growing team in County Meath.

The business has a diverse portfolio across residential, commercial and healthcare developments and is continuing to expand its project pipeline. This is an opportunity to move into a role where you’ll have genuine involvement in the delivery of projects, working across design, technical coordination and construction rather than being removed from the process once the drawings are issued.

The Role:

This is a broad role that would suit an experienced Architectural Technologist with a strong technical background who has developed into project management and coordination. You’ll be involved from the earlier design and planning stages through to construction, taking ownership of technical information and helping ensure projects are delivered to programme, budget and the required standard.

The role will also involve preparing and managing drawing packages, reviewing technical submissions and specifications, working through planning conditions and ensuring projects remain compliant with Irish Building Regulations and statutory requirements.

You’ll attend site meetings and inspections, monitor progress and quality, work alongside contractors and help resolve issues as they arise. There will also be involvement across procurement, tendering, contractor management and project reporting, giving the successful candidate exposure across the wider development process.

You’ll ideally have around 10 years’ post-qualification experience and be someone who is confident taking responsibility for multiple projects and coordinating different parties to keep things moving.

Software:

Strong AutoCAD experience is essential.

Salary:

€70,000 to €80,000
